Solstice yardstick sailing regatta

Yardstick regatta for all classes. Two sailing laps to the ‘Lion Monument’ are required. Followed by a solstice celebration.

Yardstick regatta for all classes for the route Ebensee - Traunkirchen town boundary - Ebensee. Two races/laps to the stone ‘lion’, the monument commemorating the opening of the lakeside road (1861), will be counted. Sailing enthusiasts from other clubs can also register and participate in this regatta.

This year's event is designated as a ‘white sails’ regatta, which means that all participating boats will sail only with mainsails and headsails, no gennakers or spinnakers. This is to give sailing teams that are not experienced in regattas the opportunity to participate in this socially rewarding sailing event.

In the evening, participants and members of the SCE celebrate the solstice in a very cosy get-together at the clubhouse.
