The “Glöckler” go from house to house in the villages, dressed in white robes. With their colorful, intricately crafted, brightly glowing Glöckler caps, they present a wonderful sight as they all move in perfect unison, tracing their paths, circles, spirals, and figure eights, all in perfect unison, as their caps—artistic designs such as stars, semicircles, figures, churches, and dates—glow and illuminate the dark night.
