The Untersee Music Band was founded in 1895 and currently consists of 40 members. The spring concert is a prelude to another musical year with many events.

Music plays a major role in the Dachstein Salzkammergut, especially in the cultivation of customs. There are numerous music bands in Bad Goisern, Gosau, Hallstatt and Obertraun, which organize their own concerts and also provide musical accompaniment to all important events in the villages.
