The Goldhauben- and Kopftuchgruppe, as well as the Heimatverein Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt are looking forward to your coming.

Brief information about Liebstatt Sunday:

Around 300 years ago, a pious brotherhood fed the poor of the town on the 4th Sunday of Lent.
This is how the good deed - confirming love / paying love - became Liebstatt Sunday!
On this day, people in the Salzkammergut give each other a gingerbread heart out of affection, love or friendship. The elderly, the sick and the lonely are also given gifts on this day!

In these sober times, it is gratifying that such an endearing custom is so popular.
