Obertrauner Bergerlebnis - alpine festival in the Koppenwinklalm

On September 7, 2025, the traditional Almfest will take place at the Koppenwinkelalm in Obertraun.

Delicacies from the region, folk music and Schuhplattler performances

If you love a cozy and sociable afternoon with folk music entertainment, a visit to the Almfest in the Koppenwinklalm is just the thing for you!
At lunchtime, the Obertrauner Weisenbläsern will be playing yodels and carols at Koppenwinklsee .

Afterwards, the"Arikogler" - a young folk music group from the Welterberg region - will perform. The Heimatgruppe Obertraun impresses with their Schuhplattler interludes to folk dances from the Salzkammergut.
With delicacies from the region - Holzknechtnock'n, Schneeballn, Rauggerln, ..... - and of course the Obertraun Almfest also caters for your physical well-being!

The Koppenwinkelalm can be reached on foot from the Koppenwinkel parking lot or from the Obertraun Koppenbrüllerhöhle train station in approx. 20 minutes!

Tip: not far from the Koppenwinkelalm - just a few minutes' walk away - there is a Kneipp path at the Hagenbach stream and an idyllic path to the source of the Bühlerbach stream. Both streams are karst springs fed with ice-cold water from the Dachstein massif!
