Living customs in Obertraun with musical New Year wishes

Traditionally, the Ortsmusikkapelle Obertraun divides itself into 3 sections, goes from house to house and wishes everyone a happy and healthy New Year with short, atmospheric pieces of music.

On 30.12.2026 at midnight, all 3 New Year's brass bands meet at the town square for the traditional old year's serenade.
The punch stand will provide refreshments for the audience from 10:30 pm!
