Christkindlmarkt Perg: Three days of indulgence.
From Friday, December 4 to Sunday, December 6, 2026, the parish hall and the square around the parish church in Perg will be dedicated to art, culture and enjoyment. Artisans and traders will be presenting their products at the 48th Perg Christmas Market. To delight the palate, the innkeepers cook and roast and the Perger confectioners bake.
Many of the exhibitors at the Perger Christkindlmarkt are already well known to regular visitors. That's why many of them are looking forward to exhibiting in Perg again. There is room for over 22 artisans in the parish hall. Glass, fabric, wood, metal, clay or stone: these are the basic materials for individually crafted unique pieces that can be purchased on site. Gifts, wool products and delicacies are available in the outdoor area. A Christmas tree trader will also be there again.
The Christkindlmarkt Perg offers an atmospheric mix of musicMusic frames the market events in the outdoor area and in the parish hall. In addition to wind ensembles and bands from the region, choirs also contribute to the program. We are delighted that some ensembles from the regional music school will be taking part on Saturday.
Perger moments of pleasure
Advent delicacies from the Perger innkeepers can be enjoyed from midday on all three market days. The Amstler butcher's shop is known for its outstandingly good preparation of bratwurst sausages, which are available with sauerkraut or as bosna. In the "Jäger-Hütte", Josef and Anni Seyr serve game specialties such as venison ragout, venison cheese krainer or venison pancakes, while Fritz Strondl prepares cheese spaetzle and Kaiserschmarrn for visitors and, of course, probably the best French fries in the region. Visitors can warm up from the inside with hot drinks such as mulled cider and punch variations around the market stalls.
The sweet temptations
The pastries and warm farmer's doughnuts from Konditorei Stöger sweeten your stay. Baker Pani also prepares his sweet offerings: Fruit bread, Perger kisses, cookies and punch doughnuts - and as always at the Christmas market, there are also giant salt sticks. The beekeepers' association offers honey-poppyseed noodles and Powidl-Pofesen and serves the popular mead punch. Pastry chef Kern offers his sweet Advent assortment in the parish hall. He also sells handicrafts from the Ore Mountains and tea gift sets.
