The Steyr Old Town Loft is a beautiful place for families, executives, friends, and wedding parties. It is a quiet location in the old town with easy access to all the amenities of the city right at your doorstep. The loft was designed and decorated by my wife Tania with great love. We wanted to create a place that offers space to relax, recover, be creative, and enjoy. The Old Town Loft is ideal for wedding celebrations and only a few minutes' walk from Schloss Lamberg (where civil weddings take place in Steyr). It is perhaps the most centrally located spot in Steyr and yet very tranquil. It is perfect for the bride or groom to prepare for their big day and provides a stylish and cozy setting for your stay in Steyr. We invite you to explore the charming corners of Steyr, to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the big cities of this world, to take a stroll, and to share in the rich history of a small patch of earth where time seems to stand still. Welcome to the Steyr Old Town Loft—your exclusive retreat above the rooftops of the historic old town. Spanning over 125 square meters, my wife Tania and I have transformed the entire top floor of a venerable townhouse into a sophisticated penthouse that blends elegance with pure comfort. With three bedrooms, two Italian-style bathrooms, and a spacious, open-concept living-dining area, it is the ideal temporary home for families, friends, or executives.

Attention to detail is evident in every corner: from the Bavarian oak chevron flooring and artfully carved ceilings to the local oak from our own estate in the Weinviertel region. Located on a quiet side street yet right in the heart of the action, Steyr lies at your feet. The crystal-clear river and Lamberg Castle are just a short walk away, making the loft the perfect residence for wedding parties—whether as a stylish backdrop for preparations for the big day or for a festive champagne reception.

My name is Markus and I am the owner of a medium-sized tour operator. I often book accommodations for myself, my employees, and sometimes for our clients. Starting in 2021, we are also hosts ourselves for our city pad in Steyr, Austria. We spend most of the year living in Sydney, Australia. Every year we come to Steyr for several months to visit family and friends and enjoy the city with its charm that is still largely untouched by mass tourism. Whenever we were in Steyr, we spent most of our time in this beautiful neighborhood with our favorite restaurants and bars of a gorgeous unspoiled old town that can be explored on foot, and the flowing waters of the crystal-clear Steyr River, which is just a stone's throw away. Here we simply had to have space to pitch our tents. When the opportunity arose to create our own European "old town paradise" from two apartments in our favorite corner of Steyr, we simply had to seize it.
