This lovingly renovated vacation cottage combines original charm with cozy comfort and offers the perfect retreat for couples, families, and nature lovers.
The house was converted from a historic room of a former farmhouse that once stood on this site. With great attention to detail, it was transformed into a unique little wooden house that today combines traditional craftsmanship with a cozy atmosphere.
On the ground floor, which spans approximately 28 m², a cozy kitchen-living room serves as the heart of the home. Adjacent to it are a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
A charming ladder leads up to the spacious sleeping area under the roof (approx. 14 m²). With its cozy sleeping alcove and low ceiling height of about one meter, it offers a very special cabin-like feel. Children love this area as an adventure and play paradise, while adults enjoy it as a cozy retreat for reading, relaxing, or sleeping.
In front of the house, the covered terrace—about 15 m²—invites you to start the day with breakfast in the morning sun or wind down the evening with a glass of wine. From the seating area in front of the house, you can enjoy the last rays of sunshine and the view of the surrounding greenery.
Firewood for the fireplace and grill is provided for cozy evenings—perfect for relaxing after an eventful day of vacation.
The entire house was designed using high-quality natural materials: plank floors made of local larch, lovingly crafted reclaimed wood throughout the interior, and characterful exterior siding made of brushed larch create a warm and authentic atmosphere.
Of course, the vacation home is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay—from kitchen utensils to basic bathroom amenities. A small house with a big feel-good factor—ideal for anyone who wants to experience nature, coziness, and the special charm of the Salzkammergut.
