Our house is located on the edge of the Windischgarsten district in a very sunny spot, right at the foot of the Kalvarienberg with a beautiful panoramic view (Pyhrgas, Bosruck, Warscheneck, and Totes Gebirge).

The house is surrounded by a very large green area, which also offers beautiful spots for relaxation. The spacious balcony of the apartment allows for great views - not only of the mountain scenery but also into the valley, into the forest, and over the pond in the ample garden. Additionally, you are only a 5-10 minute walk from the popular center of Windischgarsten.

In front of the house is a large private parking area for several vehicles, as well as parking for 1 car in the large carport.

Our 67 m² holiday apartment “Apartment Bergblick” is located on the 1st floor.

Highlights:

  • Spacious bedroom (1 double bed, 1 single bed, desk, TV, wardrobe)
  • Living and dining room with new kitchenette including complete kitchen equipment and a couch that can be converted into a comfortable bed with a real mattress.
  • Large luxurious and nearly new bathroom (double sink, bathtub, WC, large shower measuring 1.4 m x 1.0 m)
  • Entrance hall with wardrobe.
  • 14 m² balcony, accessible from the bedroom and living room. A very nice covered and sheltered spot with a panoramic view and a view of our pond with a waterfall in the garden.
  • On the balcony, you will find sun loungers and a table set, for example, for breakfast in the fresh air with panoramic views.
  • Sports and musical equipment on the same floor: treadmill, exercise bike, and a keyboard.

Miscellaneous:

  • Great golf course (Golfclub Dilly) only about 3 km away.
  • Countless lakes, hiking trails, huts, and peaks in the vicinity of the accommodation.
  • Tennis courts just a 5-minute walk away.
  • Outdoor swimming pool right in the village.
  • Indoor pool 10 minutes by car (Tue-Fri 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. -- Sat-Sun 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.).
  • Guests from May 1 - November 1 receive the Pyhrn-Priel-AktivCard. This allows free access to many lifts, pools & lakes.

Our 67 m² holiday apartment "Apartment Bergblick" is located on the 1st floor. From here, you have a view of the mountains from all rooms. Only the bathroom has a view of Kalvarienberg.

It is divided into:

Spacious bedroom (1 double bed and 1 single bed, bed linens, comforters, desk, wardrobe, television). Very bright room, with a view of the mountains on 2 sides and access to the balcony.

Living and dining room with kitchenette (very large room)
New kitchenette with new kitchen equipment as of March 2026 (refrigerator, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and complete dishware.....)

Dining area with new seating group (corner bench, 2 swivel chairs, 1 large dining table)

Living area with extendable couch (1.40 m wide), 2 rocking chairs, coffee table, wall cupboard, and television. Very large room with access to the balcony and views of the mountains as well as forest and green land.

Large bathroom: double washbasin, side cabinet, and double mirror cabinet, bathtub, toilet, large shower (1.4 m x 1.0 m), towels and hairdryer available

Small hallway with a small wardrobe. There is a wardrobe for shoes on the ground floor.

Balcony 14 m² can be accessed from both rooms, a very nice covered and sheltered space with a panoramic view. Loungers and a table set are available there.

Accessibility / arrival

Coming from the Pyhrn Autobahn A9, please take the exit “Windischgarsten/Roßleithen”, turn left onto the Pyhrn Pass Federal Road 138, and continue for about 1 km to the junction - signpost “Zentrum Windischgarsten” over the level crossing, continue for 1 km (past Billa, e-Tech, sports field) until the sharp right curve, directly in the curve turn left onto Salzatraße towards the nursing and old-age home, pass the old-age home (on the left) and immediately afterwards turn left into Sonnhofgasse. At the end of the living garden fence, turn right to our house.
