Zickerreith

The Zicker-Reith is a 43-hectare alpine pasture located in the municipality of Rosenau am Hengstpass in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. The privately owned alpine pasture is situated before the Hengstpass summit at an altitude of 980 m above sea level. To the south, the Haller Walls rise. Cattle are herded on a grazing area of 16 hectares. The Zicker-Reith is managed throughout the whole year. The alpine area is accessible by road.

In front of the alpine building, there is a large parking lot that serves as the starting point for ski tours and hikes to Wasserklotz, Schwarzkogel, Kampermauer, etc.
