From Salzburg via the A1 – take the Mondsee exit – then continue for 25 km via Unterach am Attersee and Weißenbach am Attersee to Steinbach am Attersee
From the north via the A8 – take the Ried exit – drive about 4 km to the town of Ried, then another 60 km via Frankenburg – Gampern – Schörfling am Attersee – Weyregg am Attersee to Steinbach am Attersee
From the south via Bad Ischl—it’s another 25 km from Bad Ischl—turn left after about 4 km—through the Weißenbach Valley to Attersee—in Weißenbach am Attersee, turn right toward Steinbach am Attersee
Train:
Coming from Vienna/Linz/Wels, travel to Vöcklabruck or Attnang-Puchheim and continue by bus or taxi to Steinbach am Attersee
From Salzburg to Vöcklabruck or Attnang-Puchheim, then continue by bus or taxi to Steinbach am Attersee; alternatively, take the train to Vöcklamarkt and ride the Attersee Railway to Attersee, then continue by boat to Steinbach am Attersee
