The charming house is old fashioned yet it was completely renovated in 2022. The appartment is in a quiet location in the middle of Gmunden. If you dont want to carry your luggage you can take the elevator to get to the second floor where you will find the appartment.

About 100 m away you can enjoy a walk along the Traunsee Esplanade. The mountains are so close you can almost reach them. There are many pubs and restaurants that will welcome you. Little shops will invite you to "window shop" or enjoy catching up some gifts.

Gmunden is an excellent startpoint to discover all the possibilities of excursions near the city and also Salzkammergut as well. Sporty activities to power out or if you want it easy there is something for everybody on the bike and bike trails. Buses nearly can also take you to your chosen destination, e.g. Miesweg, Traunstein or Grünberg.

A cable car will lift you to the Grünberg and you can start many hikes there, or you can just enjoy the view of Gmunden. If you would like a different and fun way down the mountain you can travel on the luge.
