Arriving by train & bus: In order to get to Mondsee in the Salzkammergut, you first travel by train to Salzburg main station. Then, with a journey time of approx. 1 hour, you can take bus line 140 to Mondsee. Arriving by plane: The nearest airport is in Salzburg. From Salzburg Airport you can travel to Mondsee either by public transport or by rental car.
