Are you looking for tranquility and relaxation? Welcome to our organic farm Biohof Schmidbauer!

Our holiday apartments are pleasantly cool during summer. The use of reclaimed wood gives the apartment its charming character. The balcony on the south side of the house offers a beautiful view of the North Limestone Alps. The country-style living room and the winter garden on the ground floor are available at no charge to all guests and are welcoming spots to relax and spend time in.

We celebrate the diversity! Not only because many different animals are raised in a close to natural environment on our organic farm but also because we allow bees and insects to have a home. Not everything has to be perfectly tidy. Sometimes what some people find chaotic is an important habitat for others.

It's all about the perspective. :-)

There is quite a bit to discover at our organic farm, from a small playground in front of the house to wading in the creek in the forest.

Listen to the calming hum of the bees, observe butterflies and insects. Here, you'll rediscover your inner peace.

An inviting network of hiking and biking trails in the gentle hills of the Hausruck, or simply the opportunity to take a leisurely walk, are restorative for body and soul. Those needing to re-energize can stop in at one of the local taverns. A small pool with a children's playground and the equestrian village of Ampflwang are near enough to easily walk to. The Obra-Kinderland (children's amusement park) is only a 10-minute drive away.

The Salzkammergut region and Lake Attersee can be reached by car in 20 minutes.

The Frankenburger Würfelspiel (Frankenburg Dice Game), held every two years, is a special event in the area.

Abendrot

Our 70 m² apartment is on the south side of the house with a view of the Höllengebirge mountains. During nice weather you can see all the way to the Dachstein, and towards the west all the way to the Bavarian mountains. The holiday apartment Abendrot is on the courtyard side of the building. The special character of the room stands out with the use of old timber. The second bedroom is in a loft which can be reached by stairs from the living room.
