Diversity is alive and well here, not only because many different animals are kept close to nature on the farm, but also because we give bees and insects the opportunity to find a place to live here. Not everything always has to be perfect. Often what some people consider a mess is an important habitat for others.

It all depends on how you look at it. :-)

The gently undulating landscape of the Hausruck invites you to go snowshoeing and cross-country skiing when there is enough snow, or simply to unwind on a romantic winter walk. If you want to fortify yourself, you can stop off at one of the local inns. The equestrian village of Ampflwang is within easy reach on a long walk or by car.

The Salzkammergut with its famous Christmas markets and Lake Attersee can be easily reached by car in around 20 minutes. A special highlight in the pre-Christmas period is the Christmas market at the Stehrerhof, where high-quality arts and crafts are on offer and which can be reached in approx. 10 minutes by car.
