As special attractions we would like to highlight at this point, for example: the viewing platform "Five Fingers" in the Dachstein-Krippenstein adventure world or the boat trip to Hallstatt - with a visit to the oldest salt mine in the world.

cancellation terms and conditions

Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. Guests who booked less than 30 days before the check-in date will receive a full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before the check-in date.

Thereafter, a 50% refund will be issued up to 7 days before check-in. Subsequently, no refund will be issued.

In addition, a non-refundable option is offered: guests pay 10% less, but will not receive a refund in case of cancellation.

It is possible to use the hotel restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for a fee. There is no economic dependency between the Alpenhotel Dachstein and the Mountain View Apartment.

Location description

The apartment is located a maximum of 5 minutes by car (about 1km) from the center of Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt. In the village is the train station, from there it is about a 20-minutes- walk to the apartment.

Around the property there are free parking facilities with free choice of space available.

The apartment itself is located in a large building on the 2nd floor, which on the one hand includes a hotel and on the other hand apartments. It is located on the valley side and you can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountain "Predigtstuhl" in the opposite.

In the vicinity of the accommodation you will find numerous leisure activities in summer and winter, viewpoints, places (Hallstatt, St. Wolfgang, Bad Ischl, Salzburg etc.), hiking trails, ski areas / cross-country ski trails, mountain bike trails, toboggan runs (winter/summer), which are easily accessible on foot, by car or by public transport.

Regau motorway exit onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 towards Gmunden and Bad Ischl as far as Bad Goisern.
from Vienna/Graz:
Liezen motorway exit onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Goisern.
from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit ‘Eben im Pongau’, via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße through Gosau, turn left at the Gosaumühle junction towards Bad Goisern.

We are Andreas (41) and Bianca (33), who work full-time in the public sector, are sports enthusiasts (winter and summer) and proud parents of a young daughter. We also like to travel and therefore attach great importance to the fact that you really feel comfortable in the respective accommodation. Therefore, we have made every effort to equip our apartment so that the stay for our guests is as pleasant as possible.
