From the house you can hike with snowshoes across snow-covered winter landscapes or explore the Tannberg.
An ice rink in Obertrum (10km) is easily accessible by car.
Larger ski areas are within easy reach so that you can easily make half-day trips there. (Gaißau Hintersee 30km, Werfen 50km)
