Depending on whether you want to enjoy a walk along one of the beautiful lakes or you want to climb mountains like the Dachstein with its height about 3000 m.
The Salzkammergut is the perfect place for hiking and enjoying the stunning landscape. Mountainbiking is also very popular in this area and there are lots of mountain bike trails for different levels of difficulties.
Bad Ischl, Bad Aussee and Hallstatt are also close to Bad Goisern and worth a visit.
In winter, the Freesports Arena Krippenstein and the Dachstein West family ski area are just a short drive away.
There you can go skiing, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing.

The Salzkammergut also offers many cultural attractions and is thus the ideal starting point for all your holiday activities throughout the year!

Our flat is located on a hill, about 3,5 km away from the centre of Bad Goisern. It’s not possible to go there by public transport like train or bus but there is a taxi service in the city centre.
In the centre of Bad Goisern you find lots of different shops and supermarkets.

Accessibility / arrival

Travelling by car:
A1 motorway from Vienna via Linz and „Voralpenkreuz“. Exit Regau and join the B145 towards Gmunden. Continue to Bad Ischl and then Bad Goisern.

A1 motorway from Munich via Salzburg. Exit Thalgau and continue along the B158 - Hof bei Salzburg - Fuschlsee - Wolfgangsee. Follow the B145 to Bad Ischl and then Bad Goisern.

A9 motorway from Graz to Liezen. Follow the B145 to Bad Mitterndorf und continue via Bad Aussee to Bad Goisern.

A10 motorway form Villach. Exit Eben and follow the B166 Pass Gschütt road to Gosau and then Bad Goisern.

A10 motorway from Salzburg. Exit Pongau (Golling). Continue via the B162 Abtenau and the B166 to Gosau and then Goisern.
