In a quiet, sunny glade on Herndlerberg, two carefully restored houses invite you to linger. Since the year 1800 they capture many a secret of the nearby forest. Now, the lovingly furnished apartments flourish in new splendor and give harmony and relaxation. Immerse yourself and discover our forest harmony.
The one house - the one with the number 23 - was originally built of stone around the year 1800. The house number 24 was originally a barn / barn of the small estate. In 1817, the stable was extended by a small living area.
The house Herndl 24 was and is entirely built of wood. Both houses were carefully restored and created contemporary living comfort. As far as possible, the old substance was left. For example, the timbered living room, built in 1817 from fir wood, is wholly entirely finished. Even the moss with which the square timber layers were sealed is present and visible. The whole load-bearing construction of the house 24, that woodwork, was left unchanged. Almost all of the furniture that used to be in house 24 before renovation was restored and reused. The kitchen was rebuilt from the existing bench in the house, the dining area and the corner seat from the old floor. All interior doors were sandblasted, technically repaired and reinstalled. It is a gem, in a quiet and sunny location - which invites you to relax and unwind.
