The Welser Hütte

​The Welser Hütte is situated near the Postalm Guesthouse and Landhaus Obweg on a slight hill, from which you can enjoy the panoramic view over the Postalm! ​The Welser Hütte is a lovely place to be at any time of year and in any weather, either outside on the terrace or inside in the cosy snug - for whatever you are looking for, peace and quiet or fun!

The Welser Hütte offers accommodation in 5 large rooms (4-12 beds), each with shower and WC.  The maximum overnight capacity is 45.  It is especially recommended for families, companies and youth groups.  Groups of up to 70 people can be accommodated by utilising the nearby Landhaus Obweg self catering apartments.

The Postalm is Austria’s largest mountain pasture area and highest plateau!Many walks, mountain bike routes and winter ski tours lead from the Welser Hütte and downhill skiers can also hit the slopes from right outside the front door too!

Sun-loungers and a relaxing terrace mean you can unwind and enjoy the sunshine in both summer and winter or discover new cuisine relaxing with friends!

In summer the outdoor infrastructure offers many ways to exercise - the ‘Fun Court’ (football, basketball, volleyball) is free for use by all guests.
