Welcome to the Franziskushaus of the Diocese of Linz in Ried im Innkreis!

Our educational center is open to you with a wide range of educational opportunities and as a host for seminar organizers, organizations, community days and holiday weeks of groups.
The seminar house is quietly located in the outskirts.

It offers rooms and seminar rooms in different equipment and price category and is suitable for private individuals, seminar organizers and organizers.

Location and accessibility:

The Franziskushaus is located on the western outskirts of Ried im Innkreis next to the vicarage, church and parish center of the Riedberg parish as well as the district retirement home.

Arrival by car:
The best way to reach us is to take the main road from Wels - Braunau to the Kaserne / Bildungszentrum Franziskushaus exit, turn off there and follow the signs.

Coming from Linz/Wels on the A8 highway, take the Ried im Innkreis exit, drive through Tumeltsham, cross the traffic circle just before Ried and about 200 m later turn right onto the main road towards Braunau. After approx. 2 km - after a longer gentle ascent - turn left (sign for Bildungszentrum Franziskushaus), drive approx. 300 m into town, then turn right (also sign on the left side of the road), after another 300 m turn right after the retirement home - you are directly in front of the Franziskushaus.

Coming from the direction of Schärding, take the main road towards Braunau am Inn and then follow the same route as described from the direction of Wels.
Coming from Braunau, after the sharp left-hand bend before Ried im Innkreis, take the next right turn off the main road towards the city center (sign for Bildungszentrum Franziskushaus) and then drive approx. 300 m towards the city center as described above.

Coming from Vöcklabruck, first follow the signs to Schärding, drive through the town of Ried im Innkreis until you reach the traffic circle in front of the exhibition grounds, take the second exit on the right (already signposted Bildungszentrum Franziskushaus), cross the railroad tracks and after approx. 400 turn right into Riedbergstraße (signposted Bildungszentrum Franziskushaus, only visible late!), turn left at the retirement home and church and after the parish center - you are directly in front of the Franziskushaus.

Arrival by train:
Linz-Wels-Neumarkt/Kallham railroad line (usually change there) Ried main station. There you can change to the train line Attnang-Puchheim - Ried im Innkreis - Schärding. From Ried Hbf. you can then travel one more stop to Bad Ried station.
From Bad Ried station it is about a 10-minute walk to our house. Cross the tracks and walk approx. 400 m out of town to Riedbergstraße, turn right there (sign Bildungszentrum Franziskushaus), pass the old people's home, church and vicarage and then turn right to the Bildungshaus.
From the main train station (approx. 3 km from the Bildungszentrum) you can take a cab or city bus to the Bildungszentrum (line 1, stop Altersheim).

Parking:
Parking spaces are available around the Bildungszentrum (approx. 40), if these are full, you will find a parking space nearby on the roadside.
