Hostelo

Right in the centre, yet surrounded by greenery, with direct access to the medieval moat, the youth hostel is the ideal starting point to discover Freistadt.

The Hostelo is located in a historic building (a warehouse of the medieval town) that combines the charm of bygone eras with the warmth and sociability of a simple hostel stay. It reflects the rustic charm of the town while providing travelers with a cozy and uncomplicated retreat.

In the heart of the city, at the main square of Freistadt, yet surrounded by greenery, right next to the medieval city moat with plenty of grass and a playground, the Hostelo is the ideal starting point to discover Freistadt.

The rooms are ideal for groups, school classes, or simply for anyone who enjoys meeting new people.
You will find a total of 20 beds on the first floor, distributed across two rooms with 5 bunk beds each. If needed, we also have 2 extra beds for supervisors, allowing a maximum of 22 people to stay with us.

Directly in the hallway, two bathrooms with showers and toilets are available to you. This way, you always have quick access to everything you need.

Self-catering option:
Do you want to enjoy your beloved star meals even on vacation? No problem! In our well-equipped kitchen, you will find (almost) everything you need for preparation.
