The Schloss Kurhotel itself and the surrounding area offer numerous sports and leisure activities: It is located right in the heart of Austria: in the beautiful Salzkammergut, directly in the village of Strobl am Wolfgangsee, in the middle of a large park including sunbathing lawn and large heated indoor pool, the lake - with a spacious hotel-owned bathing area - is 500m away within easy walking distance.
The spacious grounds are centred around the historic castle park with its beautiful old trees. The castle looks back on a history dating back to 1533. In the years 2013 - 2015, the historic complex was extensively and stylishly renovated and extensively extended with stylish additions. The house is thus visually and technically up to date.

There are excellent public transport connections by train and bus, the Strobl bus station is only 500 metres away. The Schloss Kurhotel is also easily accessible by private car from all directions. Our guests have exclusive use of our own large car park, directly adjacent to the castle park.
