Naturfreundehaus Wurzeralm

Welcome to the Naturfreundehaus Wurzeralm in Spital am Pyhrn!

Our self-catering house is located on the Wurzeralm at Spital am Pyhrn in the Totes Gebirge

The Naturfreundehaus Wurzeralm was established in 1978 by the local group Kirchdorf-Micheldorf.
It is situated in the middle of the skiing and hiking area Wurzeralm at an altitude of 1393 meters.

Facilities:
There are 1 dormitory with 12 and 1 dormitory with 10 sleeping places, 1 room with 14 sleeping places as well as 1 room with 6 sleeping places in bunk beds available.
The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, toilets and washrooms with showers. A ski storage room and a shoe and drying room with shoe heating are also available.
Heating is provided from the kitchen by a wood stove and a pellet stove in the dining room with support from a solar system.
There is a fire pit in the form of a fire bowl in the courtyard and a ball grill is also available.

Entering the house with hiking or ski shoes is not allowed, please bring cabin shoes (sneakers or slippers). 

Blankets are provided, however, the use of a cabin sleeping bag is absolutely necessary. A blanket cover can also be brought along. Of course, a personal sleeping bag can also be used.

Our Naturfreundehaus is fundamentally a self-catering house, i.e. there is no restaurant operation. Drinks such as mineral water, soft drinks, cola, beer, wine, schnapps, etc. can be purchased on-site. On weekends in winter, a cabin service is present.

Our house is ideal for groups in summer and also in winter.

Pets are not allowed for hygienic reasons.
