Welcome to Haus Karl in Unterach am Attersee!

This family-run house on the Kogl (south-facing slope) is approx. 1 km from the centre of Unterach am Attersee. Due to the location on the slope you can enjoy a glorious view of Lake Attersee and the picturesque Höllengebirge mountains.



At our house you can spend your well-deserved holiday in one of the holiday flats for 2-5 people or in a comfortably furnished room (without breakfast, but with the option of self-catering in the breakfast room with kitchen).
The large  garden  with  barbecue promises cosy hours and on the adjoining meadow the young and young at heart can get rid of excess energy while playing (foot)ball.
The hotel's own bathing area (with rowing boat) as well as many publicly accessible stretches of shore on Lake Attersee and Lake Mondsee offer great opportunities for a relaxing holiday by the lake.

Activities in the surrounding area

If you want to spend an active holiday, you can take advantage of the numerous water sports facilities or explore the beautiful landscape by bike and go on a tour around Lake Attersee, Lake Mondsee or another lake in the Salzkammergut. Haus Karl is the ideal starting point for this. Divers and bikers can safely park their equipment in the lockable garage.

Hikers and mountaineers also have many opportunities to experience the unspoilt nature of the Salzkammergut. Up to the Eisenauer Alm, the Hochplettspitz, to the Egelsee - wherever the mountain calls! Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can relax on a hike in the chestnut forest.

There are also plenty of opportunities for excursions. How about a visit to the festival city of Salzburg or Bad Ischl, where Emperor Franz Josef and Sisi enjoyed their summer holidays. For rainy days, the Euro-Therme offers pleasant hours. Furthermore, the towns of Hallstatt, Gmunden, St. Wolfgang and many other nice places can be explored from here.
