The family-run Haus am Kogl is approx. 1 km from the centre of Unterach am Attersee. Due to the location on the southern slope you can enjoy a glorious view of Lake Attersee and the picturesque Höllengebirge mountains
You can spend your holiday with us in one of the four holiday flats for 2-5 people or our rooms with bath/WC (all with balcony or terrace, without breakfast).
On the large adjoining meadow or the forecourt of our house, the young and young at heart can get rid of excess energy by playing (foot)ball, trampolining and table tennis.
The hotel's own bathing area (only if available) as well as many publicly accessible sections of the shores of Lake Attersee and Lake Mondsee offer good opportunities for a relaxing holiday by the lake.
Activities in the surrounding area
If you want to spend an active holiday, you can take advantage of the numerous water sports facilities or explore the beautiful landscape by bike and go on a tour around Lake Attersee, Lake Mondsee or another lake in the Salzkammergut. Haus Karl is the ideal starting point for this. Divers and bikers can safely park their equipment in the lockable garage.
Hikers and mountaineers also have many opportunities to experience the unspoilt nature of the Salzkammergut. Up to the Eisenauer Alm, the Hochplettspitz, to the Egelsee - wherever the mountain calls! Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can relax on a hike in the chestnut forest.
There are also plenty of opportunities for excursions. How about a visit to the festival city Salzburg or Bad Ischl, where Emperor Franz Josef and Sissi enjoyed their summer holidays. For rainy days, the Euro-Therme thermal spa there or various cultural offerings in Salzburg offer pleasant and interesting hours. Thanks to Unterach's central location, the towns of Hallstatt, Gmunden, St. Wolfgang, Mondsee and many other interesting towns and areas can also be easily explored. The picturesque Salzkammergut also offers many opportunities for beautiful hikes and mountain tours.
