The Gumpenbergerhaus is a self-catering facility. The key is in the GH Trautner Pfaffetschlag pick (Tel 07288/6598). There are a two-bedroom and two bedrooms, each with 10 beds available. Bring their bed linen or sleeping bag, daily utensils, dish towels, slippers ,.... The sleeping rooms may only enter with slippers. Is for damage compensation. Smoking is allowed only in the lounge on the ground floor. Drinks are in the house.

From Linz direction: B127 to Rohrbach, Aigen, Ulrichsberg; in the village of Salnau, turn right towards the Hochficht ski area, and follow this signposting. Just before the ski area, follow the signs to Ereignishaus on the left. From Passau via Hauzenberg to Klaffer, here turn left towards the Hochficht ski area and follow this signposting. Just before the ski area, follow the signs to Ereignishaus on the left. Past the Ereignishaus, go down the road and up again next to the ski lift on the opposite slope. The house is the second on the left side.
