to the camping site in Au an der Donau, to our cosy bed and breakfast and to the idyllic donAu-Stand'l guest garden.
Situated directly on the R1 Danube Cycle Path (Eurovelo 6) Passau - Vienna at the gates of the cultural metropolis Linz, the park-like grounds extend like an island below the Danube dam along a natural pond and are virtually ideal for camping in Austria. The adjacent guest garden is a popular meeting place for holidaymakers and locals. It is regularly transformed into a regional cultural stage, always in a tranquil atmosphere and with a fantastic view of the Danube.
Nature and culture, holidaymakers and locals, cyclists, boaters and campers travelling in tents, caravans and motorhomes meet here. There are not only the wooden tent, the rustic sleeping barrels on the campsite but also 5 cosy cabins that invite you to spend the night. Only 300m away from the campsite there is our cosy bed and breakfast.

We are located in a gem, directly on the Danube Cycle Path and offer you everything from a comfortable campsite meadow to spacious pitches for caravans and motorhomes, to rustic little cabins at the campsite.
For even more comfort, we have a cosy bed and breakfast not far from the campsite.
Our guest garden, the "donAu-Standl" with a view of the Danube, where breakfast is served daily from 7:00 a.m., provides for your physical well-being.

The sanitary facilities (shower, WC) are located on the campsite. You can use all the facilities and services of the campsite. TIP: If you wish, you can have breakfast daily from 7 a.m. in our idyllic guest garden at the camping buffet with a wonderful view of the Danube.

In order to quench our "thirst" for world travel, the two of us, Arnold Hörmann and Gerhard Ebner, are bringing the world to us!
At the beginning we were not sure where exactly the journey should go. One thing we knew was that this place was something special. Au an der Donau has historically always been a very important place for the people of the region.
Our guest garden, the campsite and the guesthouse now bring the world a bit closer together.
