​Our holiday apartment is situated on an elevation with unobstructed, stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, woodland and meadows

​The Dachstein West Ski Region has approximately 46 lifts and around 150 kilometres of ski pistes. The Krippenstein Freeride Arena has one of the longest ski runs in Austria. Both can be reached in approx.10 to 15 minutes by car. Buses also provide free transport every hour to both resorts.
The bus stop is just 250 metres from the apartment.
One of Austria‘ s loveliest  high level cross country ski trails, the Panorama Nova, is located in Bad Goisern, and is also just a short journey away.  There are also sledge runs nearby, each with traditional wooden huts providing refreshments as part of a fun day out.  

​The Panorama holiday apartment was constructed entirely from natural wooden blocks, and has a total area of around 175 m2.  It provides a combination of luxury and traditional comforts seldom seen nowadays, and the two living rooms provide lots of space for you to relax, one of which also serves as a dining area. This room adjoins the kitchen  and is equipped with a traditional tiled wood burning stove and two large doors leading out on to the veranda.
The second living room covers an area of approx. 55 m2 and is perfect for relaxing and watching television. It adjoins the sauna, and is an ideal place to relax after a session in the sauna.  You can also spend the evening relaxing by the open fire and look out of the window.
Our apartment also has 4 lovely double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. All bedrooms, just like the other rooms, have been furnished and tastefully decorated to modern standards, and yet there are also lots of interesting details and surprises when you look around.  
Our bathroom is one to remember: the bath tub and shower are also made from wood.
There is an extra room in the attic. This is accessible only via a pull-down ladder from one of the main bedrooms.  
There is room in the car port for two cars, and there is also space outside for an additional two to three vehicles.

We are well equipped
You will find everything you need in our house. All dishes, glasses, cookware, bed linen, towels, and much more is prepared for you. In winter, we also store wood briquettes for you, which you can purchase from us. In the two living areas, we have each installed a wood stove for you, which you can not only provide a cozy warmth but also for a cozy atmosphere which is developed by the fire.

cancellation terms and conditions

If the tenant withdraws from the contract after the conclusion of the rental contract, a cancellation fee relating to the amount of the down payment (35% of the rental amount) will be charged. The renter has the right to organise a new tenant who enters into the rights and obligations of the contract. In terms of the rental price, the original and the replacement tenant are jointly and severally liable. If the tenant cancels up to 70 days before the rental date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the rental price is payable. Up to 30 days before the rental date = 80% of the rental price, less than 30 days = 100% of the total rental price.

Our holiday home Panorama is located in Bad Goisern in the heart of the Salzkammergut in an absolutely gorgeous panoramic location, framed by magnificent mountains, distinctive agricultural meadows and large forest areas. The unobstructed and beautiful view from this beautiful patch of earth is really impressive.

Enjoy this beautiful location on the large terrace for breakfast, lunch or dinner and forget about your everyday worries for a few days.

Accessibility / arrival

​Guests travelling from Munich should follow signs for Salzburg. At Salzburg, take the turning for the A1 motorway (NOT the “Tauernautobahn”).  Approx.  20 km after the “Salzburg Nord” exit, you will reach the “Thalgau” exit. Take this exit and drive towards Hof.  Just before you reach Hof you will come to a roundabout. Take the second exit towards Fuschlsee and the Salzkammergut. Continue to follow this road, passing by Fuschl am See, St. Gilgen am Wolfgangsee and Strobl (beware of the radar speed controls on the steep hill towards St. Gilgen and near Strobl ).
When you reach Bad Ischl, drive through the Kaiserpark tunnel (rather than driving into the town itself). Just after the tunnel, take the second turning to the right towards Graz and Bad Goisern.
Bad Goisern is just a few kilometres from Bad Ischl.
We would be happy to wait for you at an agreed place along the route and then drive together to the apartment.  
Those of you travelling from Passau should continue to Wels. Join the new motorway at Wels and continue to Salzburg which will bring you to the A1. When you reach the Voralpenkreuz junction (Thalgau) after approx. 30 km, continue towards Salzburg and take the “REGAU” exit. Turn left towards Gmunden and then follow the B145 via Ebensee to Bad Ischl and then onwards to Bad Goisern.
