Under the motto "Creativity Behind Monastic Walls," guests are warmly welcomed at the Educational Center and the Cistercian Abbey of Schlierbach!

Of course, one can not only stay as part of one of our 230 courses at the Educational Center, but also if one wishes to enjoy the tranquility and serenity of the monastery.

Since 1355, Cistercians have lived and worked at the Abbey of Schlierbach. Today, the abbey is a spiritual, cultural, and economic center. The convent of monks lives according to the rules of St. Benedict. The rich history of the house is still palpable within the magnificent baroque walls.
