The inn
In the middle of the beautiful landscape of the Salzkammergut with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Close enough to all the possibilities that the Gosau valley offers and far enough away to have an unforgettable nature experience.
In addition to our personal service and regional cuisine, guests have many opportunities to explore the village of Gosau and the entire Dachstein region. From hiking to climbing and mountain biking, we are an ideal starting point. In summer you can also use our Pit Pat facility free of charge, the green-set tennis court, the playground, the infrared cabin and the sauna are of course also available.
The rooms in our inn are equipped with contemporary comfort and on the balcony you can enjoy the wonderful view. A sunny winter garden invites you to linger and it is especially cosy in the homely Swiss Pine room.

We hold us on the official austria hotel cancel regulations as follow: till 3 month before arrival date the cancel is free; 3-1 month before the arrival date you have to pay 40% from the holiday price, 1 month till 1 week before arrival you have to pay 70% from the holiday price and in the last week 90% from the holiday price and when you leave earlier you have to pay the whole booked full price.

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: at the "Pass Gschütt" junction drive straight ahead onto the "Gosausee Landstraße", then after approx. 5 km you will reach the inn Goauschmied.
from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Gosau: after the "Pass Gschütt" junction turn right onto the "Gosausee Landstraße", after approx. 5 km you will reach the inn Gosauschmied.

Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 542 in the direction Gosausee
