Berggasthof Waldschenke am Sternstein

We are a family business in which special emphasis is placed on the comfort and well-being of our guests. Our house is located on the southern slope of the Sternstein at 960 m above sea level, approx. 3 km outside of Bad Leonfelden, in the middle of the forest in an absolutely quiet location.
The Sternstein offers extensive hiking trails and a wonderful view from the lookout point at 1125 m above sea level. Our house is an ideal starting point for trips to the surrounding Mühlviertel and neighboring South Bohemia.

In winter there is the possibility of cross-country skiing on the well-groomed Sternstein trails. Everyone, from beginners and cross-country hikers to trained athletes, will find the right route for them. You can also reach the alpine descent from us without having to rely on a car.
