Hut holiday in Gosau

The hut is located in a wonderfully quiet alpine landscape, completely alone, directly in the skiing and hiking area Dachstein-West, about 500m above the middle station of the Hornspitzbahn.

The Sommerau hut is romantically located in a forest clearing in Gosau am Dachstein. Here you will find cosiness and relaxation far away from the crowds of tourists and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hut offers every comfort: double and triple rooms, sauna, relaxation room, kitchen incl. cooker, a cosy TV room with a large couch and a table and much more for cosy hours with family and friends. The hut offers space for 10 people.

In summer, access with your own car is possible via 4 km of forest road. 4 ascents and descents are included in the hut rental, each additional ascent/descent costs € 20.80. Many hikes and bike tours can be started from the alpine pasture.

In winter, the cable car takes you up to the middle station. The landlord, Mr. Gamsjäger, can help with luggage transport in his car. It is only a few metres to the ski slope of the Dachstein West ski region and to the middle station, and yet you can enjoy the peace and quiet here.

Gosau also has a lot to offer as an alternative to skiing. Let yourself be pulled by horse-drawn sleighs through snow-covered forests, glittering winter landscapes and enjoy the unique panorama. We are happy to sledge through the long Gosau valley with small and large families, club outings or company parties. Registration required!
