Holiday by Gudrun Fasl

Our house is situated in the centre of Gosau, but still in a quiet location. The nearest shopping facilities are only a few minutes away on foot.

Due to our central location we are a perfect starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours in summer. The Gosaubachweg is only a few minutes' walk away and is perfect for a relaxing walk.

In winter, you can reach the Dachstein West ski region in just a few minutes by car or you can use the free ski bus. The cross-country skiing trails are about a 5-minute walk away and stretch through the entire Gosau valley. A toboggan run in the rear Gosau valley and can be used free of charge. You can rent toboggans directly at the toboggan run free of charge.

The house Fasl Gudrun is situated in a calm and cetral position in Gosau. In about two minutes, you reach the next bus stop. From there, the ski bus brings you to the skiregion Dachstein West. All important shops, banks and the indoor pool is also reachable by foot.

Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau

Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee

By bus (irregularly on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
Walk in the direction of the ADEG supermarket. After approx. 250m turn right into Liesengasse. House Fasl is the second house on the right hand side.
