Whether with snowshoes or with good footwear, the Ennser Hütte and the Almkogel are a fantastic winter destination. In November, December & March, April on weekends from Friday and continuously open from 28. 12 to 6. 1. Enjoy a wonderful view over the snow-covered Kalkalpen National Park in the warm parlour at 1295 m!
Our local mountain is the Almkogel at 1513 m which offers a spectacular 360° panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.

The south-facing orientation of our hut gives us our dreamlike sunsets which you can enjoy on the sun terrace in summer and winter. In the cosy guest room, heated with a tiled stove, everyone will find a place. We still cook in the traditional way with the wood-burning stove. We use it to cook our traditional hut delicacies, which you can enjoy here after a successful ascent.
