Description:
The hiking trail starts with a forest path along the slope of the Freinberg, continues to the Beilstein and then back down to the Old Rectory in the center of Ternberg.

Directions:
At the former Kopf Inn, a well-maintained forest path leads along the slope of the Freinberg, crosses the Thalergrabenstraße, climbs to the Beilstein and from there gently descends to the Old Vicarage.

The path is comfortable to walk, includes a Stations of the Cross, many benches invite you to rest, and offers a beautiful view of the village.



Tip:
Climate-friendly to the National Park Region - railway station Ternberg: By train you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 1 hour from Linz and in about 2.5 hours from Vienna.
