This family-friendly hike - mainly with shady forest sections - starts in the centre of Kopfing past the treetop trail, the Wildererstöckl in Grafendorf to the former Schanzgräben fortifications in Dornedt. From Dornedt it is just a few minutes to the Virgin's Rock - a two meter high balanced rock, which can be moved with little effort.
Around the Virgins's Rock there is a cluster of larger rocks. Legend has it that giant virgins carried the rock here. Then the trail continues past Fliegerkreuz Cross - a memorial site, via Rasdorf, Matzelsdorf to Glatzing. After some 200 m you'll get to Rupertus Rock, in which St. Rupertus left his footprints.
