Motorradtour "SALZKAMMERGUT - Berge und Seen"

From the starting point in Ried im Innkreis, the winding route leads to Frankenburg am Hausruck at Lake Attersee. We drive along the beautiful lake to Unterach where we take the old road between Attersee and Mondsee to get to St. Gilgen. We touch the Lake Wolfgangsee and drive in Strobl to the Postalm. For € 6.00 toll, a great ascent and an impressive panorama await us. The cozy alpine pastures and inns spoil their guests.

We cross the Postalm and drive via Abtenau and Gosau to Bad Hall. Lake Hallstatt and its town are world famous. If you are in the mood for something sweet, you can stop in Bad Ischl at the former k.u.k. confectionery. Strengthened, we continue to Ebensee, where we can make a detour to the Langbath Lakes. Here the road ends and the idyllic landscape invites you to linger.

Via Traunkirchen we continue to Gmunden to the Lake Traunsee. We continue via Schwanenstadt, Ottnang am Hausruck and Eberschwang, then after 280 km we reach Ried im Innkreis again.

This is a demanding route.
