At around 3 kilometres, the Spöcker Waldrundweg is the shortest of the Neukirchen hiking trails, but one of the loveliest and shadiest hiking trails. It leads from the "Wirt in der Spöck" almost entirely through the Litzingerforst forest and is a shady and relaxing hike with a refreshment stop at the end of the hike at the "Wirt in der Spöck".
This wonderful hike begins at the "Wirt in der Spöck" inn. The hiking route leads a few hundred metres along the meadow in a north-westerly direction before the path leads left into the young forest. The circular forest path leads at some distance to the so-called "Schneeweisn-Gstockert", a meadow area in the middle of the Litzingerforst. After several hundred metres in the young forest, you reach the road towards Frankenburg. Now keep left until you reach the Litzing forest path. Follow this forest path southwards for several hundred metres through a high forest before turning left again and following a path to a small bridge. Immediately after the bridge, you will see an ancient "cart track" on the right, which centuries ago was probably a connecting path between Neukirchen and Frankenburg. The trail now continues slightly uphill in a north-easterly direction. After crossing several forest paths, keep left again and then turn right towards the "Wirt in der Spöck" innNot suitable for wheelchairs. The property is not compliant with Austria's ÖNORM legal standard.
