Through the Maierhoferwald it goes to the source area of the Tresleinsbach. After a panoramic view of the Alpine foothills at Turnstein, it goes along the former Austrian-Bavarian border to a stop at the inn in Pfeneberg. Refreshed, the Fliegergrab and the Jungfraustein natural monument are the next hiking destinations. After a detour to the source of Natternbach and a cozy rest at the inn in Tal, wonderful nature trails lead through small villages back to Natternbach.

The "Wirt in Pfeneberg" is a family-run business in a wonderful location close to the forest. The cuisine is home-style and focuses on local delicacies. The inn has a cosy "Bergdiele" and a guest room.
The Litzlbauer inn, the "innkeeper in the valley", is a family-run inn in a quiet location close to the forest with a cosy restaurant and a shady garden with a children's playground. The inn is also the starting point of the cross-country skiing trail and offers refreshments on numerous hikes.
