Circular route Kremsweg

Description:

Starting at the Kirchdorf post office, this walk leads to the train station and through the railway underpass. To the left, continue upstream along the Krems, and the return route leads back to the town center via the beautification path.

Directions:
This walk starts at the Kirchdorf post office and leads through the town – via the main square and Redtenbacherplatz as well as Sengsschmiedstraße – directly to the train station. Then continue through the railway underpass to Dierzerstraße, turn left onto Kaplanstraße and Lauterbacher Straße. There, keep left to Kirchenmühlstraße. This leads past the sports field to the Krems bridge. Hiking upstream along the Krems riverside, you walk to the "Alterpichl-Siedlung". The return route leads via the beautification path, through a chestnut avenue, past the "Mayr Chapel", further over the little bridge, through the railway underpass to the tennis courts, and from there back to the town center. This path is also suitable for people with walking disabilities and for strollers. A number of benches invite you to rest.Tip:
