Trail number: K1

Directions:
From the parking lot of the Alpenbad in Micheldorf, walk past the Sensenschmiedemuseum, later along the Krems River through the Kirchdorfer, Inzersdorfer, Schlierbacher, Nußbacher and Wartberger Au.

With a little luck, you may spot the protected curlew in the floodplain of Schlierbach and Wartberg.

Halfway along the route, Wartberg offers the first opportunity - without having to make any major detours - to get to know the Kremstal gastronomy. Strengthened, you continue on the cycle path to Krift and Kremsmünster until you reach the Landhotel Schicklberg.

The long hike rewards you with magnificent views of the Tote Gebirge, the Warscheneck, the Sengsengebirge, the Kremsmauer, many other well-known peaks and cultural sites such as the monasteries of Schlierbach and Kremsmünster.
