Description:
The trail leads from the center of Gaflenz in the direction of the train station and continues along the little-used goods road to "Wieden". Via the Bürgertal uphill to the Forsteralm and then on to the Amstettner Hütte.

From the Amstettner Hütte the trail leads back to parking lot 2 of the Forsteralm, then to Oberland and from there back to Gaflenz.


Variant: From parking lot 2 Forsteralm a shortened ascent is possible.

Climate-friendly to the National Park Region - railway station Gaflenz or Oberland: By train you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 2 hours from Linz and in about 2.5 hours from Vienna.

From Graz: A9 Pyhrnautobahn > motorway exit Klaus > Grünburg > into the Ennstal valley
