The dark lake, in which the colors of the surrounding woods are reflected, is not just a fantasic hiking-destination, you can enjoy swimming here too.
The best start of the tour is at the parking lot. The path leads along a broad forest road to the "snack station" Seeau. In summer many persons enjoy the possibility of swimming here. The hike to this place lasts approximately 30 minutes. At the southern shore there is a path, which leads to a forest road. The forest road leads to the parking lot which is situated at the end of the district road Offensee-Bezirksstraße. You walk back to the starting-point of the tour Offensee-Runde via this road.

from the highway:departure Regau-B145 in the direction of Bad Ischl-departure Offensee till the parking lot
