Paths covering:
The Altwartenburg circular hiking trail starts at the site of the Vöcklabruck leisure park. Via Vöcklauferweg, Wehrgasse, Flugweg and Lippeweg you reach the Wartenburg bridge. This leads to the steepest ascent of the circular route.
After a flat section, you reach a forest path on the right-hand side and cross it to the Altmannsburg district. Via the forest road, you reach the hiking trail to Dörflstraße.
After a few more metres up the Dörflstraße, local restaurants and a wonderful view of the district capital Vöcklabruck invite you to linger. Down a challenging section to Theusingerweg and from there to Vöcklauferweg, you will find your way back to the starting point.
