Agriculture and residential dwellings dominate the Sipbachzell area, that nestles among the gently rolling foothills of the Alps.
Sipbachzell was recorded for the first time in history in the year 777 in the Foundation Book of the Benedictine Abbey of Kremsmünster. During the barbarous invasion of the Huns, the monks of Kremsmünster Abbey took shelter in Sipbachzell. The name of the hamlet Zelldorf derives from this time long past.
