Aurach is a rural community at the foot of Hongar, between Lake Attersee and Lake Traunsee, and links the Alpine foothills with Salzkammergut. Aurach is a quiet and child-friendly residential community ideal for relaxing holidays amid scenic surroundings.

Aurach makes a great base for leisurely hike via Hongaralm and Kreuzingalm to Gahberg and for exploring the pristine Salzkammergut and its many lakes and sporting opportunities.
