Embedded in an area of awesome natural beauty, the tiny village of Sigharting has less than 1000 residents and nestles on foot of scenic Sauwald. The area exhibits a predominantly rural landscape with a few small-sized businesses.

The over 400 years´ old Sigharting Castle dominates the landscape and the village and is a sight that can be seen for miles around. Today the stylish amenities serve as a retreat and conference center year-around. The Castle welcomes all types of gatherings and events.

The Local Heritage Museum on Castle premises and the unique courtyard with colonnades draw much appreciative comment from visitors.
