Public castle tours start the season:

Burghausen castle tours now again every Saturday, Sunday and
public holiday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., public old town tours from April 1st.

Burghausen, March 9th, 2023. On Saturday, March 18th, the public castle tours start the new season.

In their splendid historical costumes, the tour guides stage the life of the rich Bavarian dukes in a very entertaining way and tell interesting and amusing stories from a millennium of life in Burghausen.

Public castle tours take place every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., the meeting point is Curaplatz at the entrance to the castle.
During the public old town tours from Saturday, April 1st, the tour guides bring Burghausen's town history back to life every first Saturday of the month at 11 a.m. The tour leads from the town square via the Messerzeile to the Bichl. It goes back to the starting point through the Grüben. The meeting point for the tours is in front of the tourist information office on the town square.
