Dear visitor, welcome to the Wolfsegg parish church.
Due to the connection with the castle, our church is dedicated to St. George (April 23), who is depicted as a knight. Due to the mining tradition of our market, the veneration of St. Barbara (December 4) is also important to us.
We have many opportunities to discover God's closeness: In the word of the Holy Scriptures, in our devotion to our neighbor, in the form of bread and wine in the Eucharist, in his creation. This place of worship is also a place of his presence. The eternal light on the tabernacle reminds us of this. We share these signs from the temple in Jerusalem with Judaism.
Wolfsegg is the proverbial "city on a hill" of Jesus' sermon (Mt 5:14). As a congregation of the Roman Catholic Church, we want to live up to this calling more and more each day.
As the pastor of Wolfsegg, I wish you a pleasant stay with us and a blessed time! I cordially invite you to celebrate church services with us.
